First of all I am from PA and have yet to find a Chinese take-out restaurant with eggrolls like ours. I went to China Wok and the eggrolls were small and greasy. I ordered ribtips and fried rice. NEVER again! The ribtips were nothing but bones and the shrimp in the rice was under cooked and the rice had nothing in it. No carrots, peas, no nothing. My love got General Tso's, two pieces of broccoli, huge pieces of chicken and too much sauce. I will never go to this place again!
Please help me find a good chinese take-out spot here in Durham, NC. -

I remember when this shopping center was opened. I would walk with neighbor friends down to eat in this restaurant. The food has went down hill really fast. I know people joke a lot about them not serving real meat. But really the chicken without bone is questionable. I'm confused in the texture and even smell. After cutting a piece in half I'm offended. I have a Caribbean background so I'm familiar with sause and seasonings that change the color or meat on the outside. But the inside would never look darker than the outside. So after this review I'm call the health department. Don't eat here something is not right. I believe they see the change in clientele and assume they can offer sub quality food. But I'm here to ensure that stops or they go out of business.

Usually I don't post bad reviews because I don't want to hurt businesses but...this was the worst Chinese I've had in my life. Sweet n sour chicken was brown and mushy. Rice was overcooked and mushy. Very disappointing. Service was good though the woman was very nice I just wish the food was more edible.

I feel for the lady who is always working long hours at the counter and would like to be able to support her business, but the food is horrible. I just received chicken and rice soup that was water, chicken, and rice. It had a brown tinge, but the broth tasted like just plain water. Yuck! It tasted like something you'd give a prisoner in solitary confinement for sustenance and nothing else. I'm taking it back. The Cho Mei Fun was gross and greasy and I'd rather just toss it or give it to the homeless person who sits on the corner by the Wendy's. The veggies in it looked fresh, but the noodles and sauce made it so greasy that I didn't want to eat it, nor did I. The flavor was not good, tasteless again. The egg drop soup had virtually no flavor as well, and the wings were alright, but greasy and making my stomach feel BLAH. I so regret coming back here.
UPDATE: When I went back for my soda that they had not given me and to return the soup, I was refused a refund and the woman at the counter got defensive. Apparently they do not ever give refunds. This is unacceptable. So instead, they made me another bowl of the cheaper egg drop soup to go with the first bowl I ordered it didn't want to eat. No more EVER. Consider yourself warned. -

So disappointed...ordered fried shrimp & fries. The shrimp was the darkest I've ever seen, fries were just as white as they are frozen. Nice lady @ the counter but you couldn't have possibly thought that was something to serve anyone. Change your grease...
